Each year, the Jay McKiee Capital Grant provides $15,000 to Simcoe Composite School in support of student learning resources and educational infrastructure. Recent grants have funded a classroom set of iPads, keyboards, and Apple Pencils to support digital learning.
Six Simcoe Composite School graduates are awarded $7,500 each annually through the McKiee Family Fund to support their pursuit of post-secondary education. These substantial awards reflect the fund’s long-standing commitment to student achievement and educational opportunity in Norfolk County.
The McKiee Family Fund is held and administered by Norfolk Community Foundation. Presentations are made annually at Simcoe Composite School in partnership with the McKiee family.
